Katie Lynch becomes SGRA Candidate - KCC Dartford East

I am honoured to be the SGRA candidate for KCC Dartford East. I do not underestimate the task ahead, but I promise I will keep fighting until the voice of residents is heard! I will hold KCC to account & challenge their performance on your behalf and I am determined to ensure KCC makes Dartford East a priority.

I have lived in the Dartford area my whole life. The problems that affect you, like crime, anti social behaviour, traffic & pollution, also affect me. I care about our community & volunteer for local Barnardo’s & Girlguiding charities.

I am not a politician, I run my own business which audit’s local Councils. Over the last 10 years I have audited 250+ Council projects. You can learn more about my Local Government professional expertise here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/katie-m-lynch/

I recently led the successful campaign to save the Bluewater Nature Trail. In less than one week, my petition gained 8,539 signatures & proved to me that when the community comes together, we can make a positive difference.

The SGRA has been a voice for residents since 1979. We believe that residents should decide how their town is run & that this should not be governed by national politics. I believe that Dartford East deserves better. Election turnout for Kent County Council (KCC) is very low, in 2017 only 23% of Dartford East voted & this only maintains the poor status quo. Please vote for things to change for the better & come out (safely) to support me on 6th May. Thank you
