We exist to serve residents and to be a voice through consultation and engagement.
Our aim is to address residents’ concerns so that our area remains a safe, pleasant and desirable place to live
We are not aligned with any national political party. This means that we can genuinely promote and support the best interests of our community.

Sadly Peter passed away on Thursday 22nd August 2024.
Our thoughts are with his family. He will be sorely missed.

There will be by-elections for the two vacant posts of Kent County Council Councillor for Swanscombe and Greenhithe and Dartford Borough Council Councillor for Greenhithe and Knockhall on
21st November 2024.
This follows the untimely death of Peter Harman who represented these areas on your behalf as Chair of the SGRA and a champion of local issues.

The SGRA is made up of amazing local resident volunteers and elected Councillors. They all work hard for the benefit of the residents of Swanscombe and Greenhithe. If you would like to become part of our team please contact us. You can also learn more about the SGRA Committee members here.
Projects We Care About
The SGRA is involved in a number of community focussed projects across Swanscombe and Greenhithe. This ranges from working to make our streets safer through Neighbourhood Watch to fighting to protect our greenspaces and holding local transport and GP services to account.
